FLAT SCREAM (2014/2015)

In FLAT SCREAM the dancers attempt to transform their bodies into a surface. They create (body-)images of everyday situations only to instantly break them with abstract figures and poses. Their movements defy definition and bear no resemblance to anything human. They are providing a stock interpretation, but destroy it the very next moment. Looked at closely, however, they reveal references to painting, sign language and well known gestures.
